The family temple of the Asai clan, lords of Kotani Castle, is a Soto sect temple. The main hall houses a statue of Yakushi Nyorai brought back from Banshu by Toyotomi Hideyoshi and many temple treasures of Nagamasa and his wife, the third generation of the Asai clan.
