To the southwest are the beautiful lake mountains of Oku-Biwako, the Hira mountain range, and Chikubu Island, while to the east is Mt. Ibuki and to the north is Lake Yogo of the legend of Hagoromo (robe of feathers). At the top of the mountain, there is a monument to the battle of Dodogatake and a monument to the war dead. The lift to the summit takes about 6 minutes.
