Kanayama Berry Farm

Visitors can enjoy picking sweet and fresh "Akihime" variety strawberries grown at Kanayama Berry Farm. These strawberries are a cross between "Kunohayo" and "Onomine" varieties, which were born in Shizuoka Prefecture, and are characterized by their sweetness and a slight sourness that comes afterwards. Visitors can enjoy all-you-can-eat for 40 minutes, but strawberry plants are delicate, so care must be taken when harvesting. Also, be careful not to irritate the bees as they are flying around inside the plastic greenhouses.
Reservations can be made by phone (090-1132-0015) or fax (0749-53-4025) at least one day in advance, and are accepted from 10:30 am to 4 pm. No large bags or sacks are allowed in the park, and unauthorized take-out or leftover strawberries are strictly prohibited.
To access the park, it is about a 5-minute drive from Torahime Station on the JR West Japan Hokuriku Line or about a 10-minute drive from Nagahama Station. If using a car, the restaurant is located 5 km from the Nagahama Interchange and has a parking lot with space for 10 cars. Up to three large buses can also be accommodated.
