Oku-Biwako Parkway Tsuzura Ozaki Observation Deck

In spring, the Oku-Biwako Parkway is filled with 3,000 cherry trees between 20 and 25 years old blooming along the 18.8-km driveway, which is crowded with visitors in April. Visitors can enjoy the unique natural beauty of Oku-Biwako and Chikubujima from their cars, and the view from the Tsuzura Ozaki Observatory is also superb.
The Oku-Biwako Parkway in autumn is an 18.8 km long road that runs from Tsukide Pass to Oura via Sugaura, and is a comfortable driving course along the northern shore of Lake Biwa. Visitors can enjoy the autumn leaves and the scenery of Chikubushima and Eri fishing in Lake Biwa.
